Home Child Care Provider

We are looking for a home child caregiver for a 7 year old autistic child
Employer: Lena Family
Work Location: St. Catharines, Ontario
Salary: $17 / hour
Terms of Employment: Full time
Hours: 40 hours a week (1.5 overtime pay after 40 hours)
Language: English
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description:
- Bathe, dress and feed the child
- Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding child
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Take child to and from appointments
- Tend to emotional well-being of child
- Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for child
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Supervise and care for child
Qualifications:
- Must have completed at least secondary education
- 1 year experience of related working experience or training in dealing with children
- Completed training or experience in supporting children in the spectrum or similar
- Honest, reliable, responsible, loves children, patient, trustworthy
- Should be able to communicate in English
- First aid / CPR certification is not required but will be considered an asset
